Chief Executive Officer
Will is a founding partner and current Chief Executive Officer of Remnant Oil. Mr. Gray has held various senior level management positions including Executive Vice President of Resaca Exploitation (a Torch portfolio company), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Border Resources, Chief Executive Officer of Dala Petroleum, and President of WS Oil and Gas. Since 2005, Mr. Gray has directly operated over 950 +wells located in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Outside of the energy sector, Gray has a passion for volunteering. His board involvements include his appointment to the board of directors to the Midland chapter of United Way in addition to his appointment as trustee to the Texas State University Development Foundation. The Texas State University Development Foundation supports and furthers the mission of Texas State University through the acceptance and investment of gifts established as endowments benefiting the students, faculty and staff.
Will received his B.S. in Business Management from Texas State University in 1998. While attending Texas State, Mr. Gray was a member of the Men's Varsity Golf Team, earning Southland Conference All-Academic Honors. Will was born and raised in Midland/Odessa and graduated from Midland Senior High School in 1993.
Reed is a founding partner and current President of Remnant Oil. In addition, he serves as co-Manager of Antelope Energy Co., LLC, a family-owned, oil and gas company with operations in the Rockies and Permian Basin. Reed also serves in different official capacities at several family-owned entities engaged in the oil and gas business.
Prior to joining Remnant and Antelope, Reed was employed by Cabela's Inc., a publicly traded, hunting and fishing outdoor retailer, as its Corporate Attorney, Director of Legal, and Corporate Secretary. Prior to Cabela's, Reed represented Global Energy Holdings, LLC, a Denver-based oil company engaged in the acquisition of oil and gas exploration licenses in the offshore waters of the Republic of South Africa. Prior to that, Reed was employed as a land attorney and in-house counsel for Chevron USA Production Company, representing Chevron's Land, Exploration and Production Departments in its operations in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico.
Reed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska. Following college, he served five years as an officer in the United States Navy. Reed then earned his law degree at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Reed currently resides in Midland, Texas with his wife and is past president of Midland Festival Ballet and has assisted with the work of several non-profit organizations in Midland. Reed currently serves as an elder at Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA).
Chief Operating Officer
Bob is a founding partner and current Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Remnant, Bob worked with ConocoPhillips for 27 years. He worked in a wide variety of capacities in many aspects of the oil and gas industry. Holding positions in Engineering Management, Operations, Projects, Maintenance, and Design; in Petro Chemicals, Refining, Midstream, and Exploration and Production.
A Licensed Texas Professional Engineer, Bob has written and published several technical articles and holds a patent. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota, 1989.
Executive Vice President
Pat is an experienced oil and gas executive with more than 40 years of petroleum engineering and senior management experience in the domestic and international oil & gas industry and international banking. Pat has held positions of increasing responsibility in management and all phases of exploration, exploitation, and production, including operations management, reservoir engineering, production engineering, drilling, completion and stimulation design, facility design, property evaluations, reserve assessments, and mergers & acquisitions. Past positions have included Sr. Vice President of Alamo Permian Resources, LLC; President, Chief Operating Officer & Director of Doral Energy Corp.; Vice President - Engineering of Cabot Oil & Gas (NYSE:COG); Vice President - Engineering of NatWest Markets (corporate and investment banking division of National Westminster Bank, plc); President of SPI Operations LLC; and Vice President - Operations of Frontera Resources Corporation. Pat began his career with Exxon Company USA after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Summa Cum Laude (with Highest Honors).
Senior Production Engineer
Britt is a production engineering professional with 35 years of diverse experience in oil and gas production from subsurface to sales. Britt was brought on board to implement Remnant's long-term EOR strategy comprised of water flood and CO2 flood re-implementation on conventional oil fields.
Prior to joining Remnant, Britt was the Senior Advisor Production Engineer at Chevron E&P North America (Midland) where he provided production engineering support on the Mabee Unit CO2 flood in Andrews County, TX. Prior to Chevron, Britt has held Production Engineering positions at Callon Petroleum (CPE), Kinder Morgan, Oxy and Phillips.
Britt received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is currently a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Vice President of Land
Vicki joined Remnant Oil in 2016 to implement and oversee the company's land department. Before joining Remnant, Vicki worked as an independent landman for ten years, serving clients including Mewbourne Oil Company, Anadarko, and BP America with an emphasis on the Haynesville and the Permian. Vicki received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Remnant, Dave's experience included progressing Accounting and Finance roles, ranging from Accountant, Production Analyst, Sr. Financial Analyst, Supervisor of Budgets and Reporting, Program Manager, Controller and CFO. Dave worked in the Oil/Gas, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Insurance, and Hospitality industries ranging from Fortune 100 to local family-owned businesses. Over his career, Dave has developed the skillset to directly contribute to management and boards the necessary financial information needed to assess and increase both top and bottom line revenues.
Dave holds a Bachelor's of Science in accounting from California State University, East Bay, and Master's of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Victoria joined Remnant Oil in April 2019 to fill the role and responsibilities of HR in addition to managing all MSAs and Insurance. She has previously worked for a Human Resources consulting firm and a Safety Council as an Administrative/Training Assistant. She is currently working to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Liberty University.
